KEEPING WITH TEACHING
Gamification of the classroom & other useful teaching resources from the viewpoint of a public charter school educator in Detroit, MI.

Through a friend I was referred to this program at Michigan State University. It is a 3 course certificate that will take a little over a year to complete. If all goes well I will begin in the Fall of 2012 and finish at the end of the Fall semester of 2013. It is my hope that this program will give me a much deeper background knowledge of game design that will help me to continue to develop an effective game-based learning curriculum. My colleague Jon Cassie and I are also hoping to present at the Serious Games Conference at MSU this coming fall as well.
