Just finished with our presentation Level Up! Implementing the Gamified Classroom with Jon Cassie at the Educating for Sustainable Happiness Conference here at the Cushing Academy in Massachusetts and I am very pleased that we were able to connect with quite a few people that seem to be interested in experimenting and iterating with gamifying their own classrooms and eventually their schools. Some things that will be coming in the near future from Jon and I will be:
A list of steps that one could go through to begin to gamify their classrooms
A bibliography of references that both Jon and I have found useful in our endeavors
We will be looking to create a common space where the two of us can converse together and establish a common point for others that are also interested in gamifying their classrooms to share their thoughts/concerns/idea/iterations
I hope that those that were able to attend the presentation found it useful and that we are able to connect and stay in contact as this new endeavor in education continues to grow.
